WgIRKT was an intense two days workshop for working on the writing of the Protocol for Interdisciplinary Research that Hangar iniciated in 2013 which aims to provide useful references and guidelines for institutions, funding bodies, individual researchers and interdisciplinary research groups through the analysis and discussion of diverse experiences and visions of interdisciplinary work.
The attendance to WgIRKT was by invitation only. The workshop was held at Mas Caputxa, Hostalric.

WIRKT (Workshop on interdisciplinary research and knowledge transfer) was a workshop led by Josep Perello (OpenSystems – Universitat de Barcelona), promoted by Hangar and Grid Spinoza, and developed within the framework of the European project SoftControl.

The workshop was concieved as a step further in the development of the that Hangar iniciated in 2013 which aims to provide useful references and guidelines for institutions, funding bodies, individual researchers and interdisciplinary research groups through the analysis and discussion of diverse experiences and visions of interdisciplinary work.
The attendance to WIRKT was by invitation only. The workshop was held in Hangar and was divided into five thematic sessions:
1. Documents, contexts and policies for interdisciplinary knowledge transfer.
2. Methodologies for interdisciplinary knowledge transfer.
3. Evaluation systems.
4. Economies for interdisciplinary knowledge transfer.
5. Wrap – up.
