PORTUGAL 2012

Meeting developed with the interaction not only between partners but also as an opportunity to meet other cultural agents and visit the programme of Guimarães 2012, with visits to the exhibits Archigram, Buildings and Remnants, Metaphoria, Love Difference, ReaKT, and spaces like the Cultural Center of Vila Flor and Fabrica Asa.

ART, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGICAL UNCONSCIOUS

International interdisciplinary conference
(MARIBOR, SLOVENIA, 16.-17.11.2012)

The showpiece event of the educational program of the SOFT CONTROL project was an international conference involving theoreticians and artists from Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia, Russia and Singapore. Conference participants invited included recognised experts in the field of contemporary art and new technologies, famous artists and philosophers. The conference placed special emphasis on the presentation of new strategies in contemporary technological art and education in the field, as well as practical presentations.

2-day conference consisted of 2 thematic sections: “Technological Matter and the New State of the Living” and “The Technological Unconscious as a Medium”.

SOFT CONTROL Final meeting

The SOFT CONTROL Project coordinated by ACE KIBLA is reaching its final stage, with an official closing on 31 May 2015. Soft Control was planned as a multi-annual (3 years) cultural project aimedat actualizing cultural phenomena which are emergent when art, science andpublic awareness are interconnected.

On Friday, 22 May 2015, KIBLA hosted the final meeting, which was attended by partners from Spain, Portugal, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Latvia. The topics under discussion were project activities and coordination in terms of preparing the final report.
